Cumming New Life Church
A Church of the Word and the Spirit

1. The Bible is the inspired Word of God.

2. The Trinity: Our God is one, but manifested in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the
Holy Spirit.

3. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and has existed with God the Father from the beginning.

4. Man was created in the image and likeness of God, but through Adam's sin in the garden,
sin came to all mankind. All have sinned and need a savior.

5. Jesus Christ gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God.

6. A person is "saved" and made a "new creation" by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

7. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit, and the Gifts of the Spirit are available today to empower
the Christian for service and to be a witness. The Baptism in the Spirit is accompanied by the
initial evidence of speaking in tongues.

8. Water Baptism is an outward demonstration of the inward work of salvation in a persons
heart. It is an important step in following Jesus Christ.

9. Believers are called to a life of purity and holiness and progressively achieve this through
the work of the Holy Spirit in their life.

10. Physical healing is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and is for every believer.

11. The Rapture of the Church: Jesus Christ is literally coming back to "catch away" his
people and rescue them from the final judgments that shall come on the earth.

12. The Reality of Hell: The one who physically dies in his sins without accepting Christ is
hopelessly and eternally lost and will be cast into hell.

It is not God's will that any should perish, He has made a way of salvation through our Lord
Jesus Christ, for whosoever will believe on Him.
