What is a Healing Service?
It is a church service dedicated to teaching and preaching on the subject of Divine Healing, and then
ministering to the sick according to the Biblical methods outlined in the New Testament.
Why do you have a Healing Service?
It is one way to fulfill our mission of being a Luke 9:11 Church: Jesus "... healed those who had need of
healing." We felt it was important to set aside one service every month specifically dedicated for this.
What can I expect?
First of all , the service will begin with a few songs of praise, to focus our attention on Jesus Christ, the
Healer. Then our pastor will preach a simple message from the Bible about God's willingness and ability
to heal. People will then be invited to come forward and receive ministry according to the Bible (the
laying on of hands, anointing with oil and the prayer of faith). We expect the power of God to be present
to heal the sick.
